Job summary

Cardinal Health in Orange City, IA is seeking a Retail Technician II to support pharmacy operations, assist pharmacists, and help prepare and deliver prescription medications within the community. You will develop strong relationships with patients and ensure efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience, preferred
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Retail pharmacy technician related experience preferred
• May require vendor credentialing

Retail Technician### Retail TechnicianApply: In-Person: IA-Orange City-Municipal OutPatient: Full time: Posted Today: 20190521**What Retail Pharmacy contributes to Cardinal Health** Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers. Retail Pharmacy is responsible for ensuring the correct and safe dispensing of prescription medications to the general public, in accordance with legal, ethical and professional guidelines; may also consult with and advise patients and physicians regarding prescribed and over-the-counter medications. **Job Summary** The role of the Technician II, Retail Pharmacy plays an important role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care in communities.
