Job summary

Philip Morris International is seeking a Retail Team Manager ( Swedish Match, PMI U.S. ) to lead a sales team and manage key retail accounts within the assigned territory.

The role combines player-coach leadership with hands-on account execution to drive distribution, merchandising, and promotional activity. Responsibilities include developing the team, analyzing market data, and collaborating with Business Development and Key Account Managers to grow customer growth strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5+ years in retail sales, wholesale grocery, route sales, or related fields.
• Proven leadership, coaching, planning, organizational, and team management skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and analytical abilities.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), Salesforce, syndicated data, and sales analytics tools.
• Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve regional business objectives.
• Manage assigned retail and wholesale accounts while executing strategic business plans.

• Support recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and development planning for team members.
• Maintain accurate reporting of retail and account metrics.

Compensation

Annual base salary: $90,000 - $120,000
