Job summary

Swedish Match, a PMI U.S. affiliate, is seeking a Retail Team Manager to lead a sales team across an assigned territory. This player-coach role blends team leadership with direct account management to drive distribution, merchandising, promotions, and customer growth in retail and wholesale channels.

You will coach and develop reps, manage accounts, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute strategic plans and achieve regional objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in retail sales, wholesale grocery, route sales, or related fields.
• Proven leadership, coaching, planning, organizational, and team management skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and analytical abilities.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), Salesforce, syndicated data, and sales analytics tools.
• Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve regional business objectives.
• Manage assigned retail and wholesale accounts while executing strategic business plans.
• Drive product distribution, merchandising excellence, promotional execution, and product freshness standards.
• Analyze market, sales, and customer data to identify growth opportunities and develop action plans.

• Support recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and development planning for team members.
• Maintain accurate reporting of retail and account metrics.
• Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

Compensation

Annual base salary: $90,000 - $120,000
