Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Retail Team Leader for our Cleveland location. This role supports daily store operations, oversees stocking, and ensures product quality while delivering excellent customer service.

The leader will open/close the store, assist in unloading deliveries, manage cash handling, and train team members. Located at 1363 W 117th St, Cleveland OH 44107, hours vary Mon–Sat 7AM–8PM and Sun 9AM–6PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of retail experience with increasing responsibility.
• Physical ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs with occasional overhead lifting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• As part of the leadership team, open and close the store and support daily operations.
• Unload merchandise from delivery trucks, stock shelves, and move items from stockroom to floor.
• Maintain merchandise rotation, food handling, and product quality.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong sales relationships.
• Handle cash, deposits, and counting of registers.
• Lead, train, and develop the sales team.
