Shoe Carnival in Taylor, MI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations and support the team. This full-time role acts as a key holder, leads by example, and fosters a fun, customer-first store environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, be hands-on with daily tasks, and drive sales while maintaining high standards of customer service. Daily Pay is available for this role.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Great customer service and a positive attitude.
• At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
• Must be able to complete Key Carrier Certification within 60 days.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years of age due to keyholder responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Open and close the store as a key holder.
• Support the General Manager in reaching sales goals.
• Lead customer service efforts and resolve issues professionally.
• Train and guide associates on processes and standards.
• Delegate daily tasks and coordinate breaks.
• Assist with visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Perform register overrides, safe/till counts, and cash reconciliation.
• Follow and promote loss prevention procedures.
