Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations in the United States as year-round Business Tax Experts.

In this on-site role you will provide full-service tax preparation for consumers and business entities, own client relationships, and deliver proactive tax guidance while leveraging Intuit resources. You will also help grow the local TurboTax client base and participate in community engagement and marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Strong business tax preparation experience with 3+ years preparing federal and state returns for at least 20 clients per season.
• 3 seasons of personal tax preparation experience with a minimum of 30 returns per year.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and willingness to upskill to QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
• Experience preparing business tax returns and providing year-round guidance for small businesses.
• Must possess or be able to obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willingness to work onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, 20+ hours per week.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to build local community presence and client relationships.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax preparation for consumer and business clients.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and plan taxes.
• Utilize government sites, professional tools, and team expertise for accurate solutions.
• Develop deep understanding of each client’s financial picture and advise using Intuit solutions.
• Grow TurboTax client base locally and drive loyalty with marketing support.
• Collaborate with bookkeeping specialists for additional accounting needs.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in person and via video tools.
• Lead local community outreach and represent TurboTax locally.
