Responsibilities

• Efficiently perform standard alterations - including pant hems, waist and seat adjustments, rise and tapering modifications, coat sleeves, side seams and lower collar adjustments - per company guidelines.
• Maintain an average of 60 minutes of productive alteration work per hour, with allowances for non-tailoring tasks.
• Ensure garments meet high-quality standards with clean finishes, secure stitching, even seams, and remove loose threads and pins.
• Press garments to achieve a clean, crisp finish.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and properly store tools and materials.
• Demonstrate proficiency with all tailor shop equipment.
• Ensure completed work is tagged, organized, and ready for customer pickup.
• Assist with inventory by monitoring tailoring supplies and requesting replenishment.
• Support front-of-house activities and assist customers as needed.
• Participate in customer consultations for alterations and garment fit.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by listening to needs and offering personalized solutions.
• Share tailoring knowledge with colleagues and assist in training staff.
• Report safety hazards to management and uphold professional appearance.
