Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to assist with a variety of general retail tasks and customer service. You will gain exposure to store operations, product handling, and service desk interactions while supporting daily store needs.

Ideal candidates are organized, have strong communication skills, and can perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving items in a fast-paced environment. This role offers weekly pay and opportunities for advancement within the Meijer family.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Transport shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and store trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking areas.
• Collaborate with departments across Health & Beauty, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card & Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
