Job summary

Seright’s Ace Hardware in North Idaho seeks a Retail Supervisor / Delivery Driver to lead store operations and deliver merchandise between locations. This full-time role combines supervising associates, assisting customers, and coordinating transfers among Rathdrum, Post Falls, and Coeur d’Alene.

Ideal candidates have strong customer-service skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certificate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong customer-service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to guide associates and follow through on responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license for assigned vehicles.
• Driving record meets standards; DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate may be required.
• Box-truck driving experience preferred.
• Ability to use POS, inventory, email, and delivery systems.
• Willingness to learn hardware/home-improvement products.
• Availability Tuesday–Saturday, primarily closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide helpful, knowledgeable service and set a positive example for associates.
• Act as manager on duty when assigned and direct daily work.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns and refer to management as needed.
• Perform opening/closing procedures including cash handling and security.
• Coach associates on customer service and product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by helping customers find products and complete purchases.
• Coordinate handoffs to other leaders before leaving for deliveries.
• Safely operate delivery vehicles and complete transfer paperwork.
