Responsibilities
- Foster genuine consumer connections by delivering exceptional, engaging, efficient, and personalized experiences, embodying the ultimate retail experience.
- Support the Store Leader and Assistant Store Leader in telling the Carhartt story through executing consumer experience initiatives, visual merchandising, and visual standards.
- Promote associate engagement by fostering a positive, collaborative team environment where associates can excel daily.
- Assist in training, coaching, and providing feedback to associates to support their growth.
- Help ensure store controls and operating standards are met, including policies and procedures, contributing to profitability and safety.
- Communicate relevant operational data, including product trends, local competition, and upcoming events, to the Store Leader and Assistant Store Leader.
- Support revenue-building strategies and monitor performance metrics to meet or exceed store goals.
- Assist with external partnerships and promotional events to benefit the store.
- Contribute to community engagement initiatives and support efforts to grow brand awareness locally.
- Participate in recruiting and identifying potential talent for various positions.
- Own personal development and professional growth.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in retail preferred.
- Experience in sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.
- Knowledge of staffing, coaching, counseling, training, and development.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
