Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Store Leader to plan, direct, and supervise day-to-day operations across store departments. You will mentor teams, implement strategies to boost customer service and sales, and maintain Meijer standards and prime shopping hours.

You will oversee staffing, development paths, and disciplinary actions, while managing P&L and shrink. The role emphasizes mentoring, training, safety, and delivering exceptional service to customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years retail experience.
• 1 year of management experience.
• Rotational experience in meat, bakery, produce or deli is helpful.
• Clear communication, conflict resolution and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to analyze financial data and guide decisions.

Serves as the mentor and coach for all team members. Implements strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales while ensuring customer needs are met and service is quick and efficient. Demonstrated ability to teach suggestive selling.Demonstrated ability to lead an organization that practices working safely at all timesDemonstrated ability to mentor team members in all areas of the organization including SDITs, team members in hourly positions and team leaders.Successful completion of all required certifications.
