Job description

YOUR MISSION
  • Responsible for ensuring the Store consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs, and profitability goals through effective planning, expense control, sales, and service.
  • Guarantee high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA's Brand Values and service standards.
  • Spend 90% of working time on the sales floor engaging with consumers, selling, and coaching employees.
  • Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with recruitment, training, development, and succession planning for high-performing, results-driven Associates.
  • Manage payroll control and service-driven scheduling to maintain profitability while providing excellent customer service.
  • Manage Loss Prevention education and awareness programs, ensuring operational compliance and achieving inventory and shrink goals.
  • Communicate merchandise opportunities to the Store and Assistant Store Manager.
  • Participate in new store openings and closings; travel may be required.
  • Process sales, exchanges, and refunds accurately at the cash desk, ensuring proper operation of POS systems and adherence to policies.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained according to PUMA guidelines.
  • Maintain the physical condition of the Store and communicate maintenance needs timely.
  • Comply with all Policies & Procedures, operational standards, and safety regulations.
  • Work non-traditional hours including weekends, evenings, holidays; overtime may be required.
YOUR TALENT
  • One to two years of management experience in a customer service-oriented retail environment, preferably apparel/footwear, with a results-driven track record.
  • Proven ability to exceed sales goals, provide high customer service levels, and communicate effectively.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, bend, climb, and lift up to 30 pounds, including working at heights and operating equipment like ladders.
  • Strong sensory skills including speaking, hearing, vision, and depth perception.
  • Basic math, reading comprehension, writing, problem-solving, and computer skills required.

The base pay for this position is $21.00-$25.00 + Bonus + Benefits. Pay may vary depending on experience and skills.
