Summary

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to our guests, always conveying a warm and friendly smile. Courteously and efficiently offer a unique experience to our guests while overseeing the operation of the retail outlets and performing duties to ensure that they operate smoothly. Proactively provide our guests with personal service and attention that exceeds their expectations. Ensure that the company’s Mission Statement and Vision Statement are continuously met.

Essential Functions

Job duties include, although are not limited to:

  • Possess full knowledge of all retail products.
  • Provide an interactive guest experience through the utilization of suggestive sales techniques.
  • Demonstrate the steps of service in all guest interaction.
  • Establish rapport with guest through name recognition.
  • Provide friendly and courteous service to guest and fellow employees.
  • Handle telephone calls to assure guests’ expectations have been met.
  • Stock, replenish and retrieve merchandise and supplies. Ensure all merchandise is correctly ticketed and priced.
  • Complete opening, running and closing duties as assigned.
  • Attend daily line-ups.
Guest Services
  • Convey a favorable image of the organization by projecting a positive, professional appearance and demeanor to our guests.
  • Participate in increasing the percentage of return guests by listening to and fulfilling their needs with a caring and responsive attitude.
  • Provide exceptional and efficient guest service when interacting with guests and use effective up-selling techniques.
  • Maintains a high level of knowledge regarding the company’s products and activations, and communicates accurately to guests.
  • Ensure standards for quality, customer service and healthand safety are met.
  • Tour the sales floor regularly, talk to colleagues and customers, and identify or resolve urgent issues.
  • Provide a cooperative attitude to fellow co-workers including employees in all other outlets.
  • Answer the phone in three rings with a friendly voice using professional telephone techniques and etiquette.
  • Assist in loss prevention by practicing proper security safeguards as outlined during training.
Reporting/Administrative Duties
  • Undertake other responsibilities as directed by the Retail Director.
  • Maintain an efficient record of guests’ requests, complaints, and comments and respond to guest complaints and comments in a timely manner.
  • Meet daily with retail team to review daily events and items of importance for the day.
  • Maintains financial records such as the daily journals, retail scorecard.
  • Analyze and interpret trends to facilitate planning.
  • Update retail associates on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Cross train in all retail outlets in order to provide coverage during break times and assigned shifts
  • Maintain a clean, and professional work environment always.
  • Attend monthly departmental meetings
  • Train, schedule, monitor, evaluate and provide direction to retail associates- complete timesheets and attendance records.
  • Receive product and prepare them for display in the store according to established policies by performing duties such as sorting, stocking, folding, hanging and maintaining related records.
  • Maintain or change product displays including those required for periodic sale events.
  • Perform product inventory in accordance with established policies and maintain related records.
  • Supervise and motivate team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.

Physical Requirements

Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.
