Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients, identify their needs, and provide knowledgeable product recommendations and styling support.
  • Drive sales through active engagement, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Meet or exceed store sales goals, KPIs, and conversion expectations.
  • Maintain stockroom organization and inventory accuracy.
  • Receive, unpack, inspect, count, tag, and process incoming merchandise.
  • Replenish the sales floor and collaborate with the team to fulfill client requests.
  • Assist with opening/closing procedures, shipments, and general store upkeep.
  • Process POS transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges, per cash-handling procedures.
  • Follow all company policies and loss-prevention guidelines.

About the Job

The Sales & Operations (Stock) Associate supports both the client experience and the efficient flow of merchandise throughout the store. This role combines customer engagement and sales support with receiving, stockroom organization, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and day-to-day operational execution.

This position is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who works well in a fast-paced retail environment and is equally comfortable assisting clients on the sales floor and maintaining organized, accurate back-of-house operations. Compensation for this role is hourly plus commission, providing the opportunity for performance-based earnings.

What You Do:

  • Welcome clients, identify their needs, and provide knowledgeable product recommendations and styling support.
  • Drive sales through active engagement, thoughtful product suggestions, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals, KPIs, and conversion expectations.
  • Build client relationships through attentive service, follow-up, and a consistent brand-aligned experience.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge, including features, fit, fabrication, care, availability, and current promotions.
  • Receive, unpack, inspect, count, tag, and process incoming merchandise accurately and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain the stockroom to support inventory accuracy, product accessibility, safety, and efficient replenishment.
  • Replenish the sales floor promptly and partner with the sales team to locate merchandise and fulfill client requests.
  • Support inventory counts, transfers, returns to vendor, damages, markdowns, and other product-movement processes.
  • Identify and communicate inventory discrepancies, low-stock items, and operational issues to store leadership.
  • Support visual merchandising standards and ensure products are accurately displayed, sized, and priced.
  • Accurately process POS transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges, while following cash-handling procedures.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, shipment preparation, supply organization, and general store upkeep.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe sales-floor, fitting-room, stockroom, and receiving areas.
  • Follow all company policies, operational procedures, and loss-prevention guidelines.
  • Shift between sales and stock responsibilities based on business volume, shipment schedules, and leadership direction.
  • Collaborate with store leadership and team members to ensure seamless daily operations and support special events and promotions as needed.
