Job Summary
Part‑time Team Leader for LEGO® Brand Retail. Provide training, visual merchandising leadership, and a brand experience for customers while managing sales, stock, and team performance.
Responsibilities
- Maximize profitable sales by reviewing sales and margin information.
- Ensure effective space and graphics management to support customer service and sales.
- Maintain store graphics system, pricing and ensure all fixtures are replenished.
- Evaluate competitor visual merchandising and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Train Sales Associates on visual merchandising techniques per LEGO® Brand Retail guidelines.
- Motivate a high‑performance team, sharing LEGO® Brand, Vision and Values.
- Deliver inspirational retail experiences built on LEGO Brand values.
- Assist ASMs and SMs with holiday, attendance, scheduling and shop floor supervision.
- Complete orders for store and office supplies within budget.
- Ensure money‑handling procedures are followed by all Sales Associates.
- Maintain an organized stockroom and achieve loss prevention targets.
Qualifications and Experience
- Leadership and/or management experience in a retail store environment.
- Experience delivering employee training.
- Cash handling and inventory/sales auditing.
- Proficiency with point‑of‑sale automated systems.
- Merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising expertise.
- Strong communication and motivation skills.
- Ability to work safely in a fast‑moving, customer‑facing environment.
Physical and Availability Requirements
- Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least 2 consecutive hours.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders.
- Vision: close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Availability of up to 30 hours per week (must be available; actual scheduled hours may vary).
Compensation
Hourly wage range: $20.11 to $21.51, based on responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.
