Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Harper Woods, MI to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandise handling, payroll and scheduling, and coaching Store Associates to meet company standards.

This role requires strong communication, reliability, and a customer‑oriented approach in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous store management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Train and develop store associates and ensure safety.
• Protect company assets and adhere to policies.
