The Assistant Manager will oversee merchandising, scheduling, and inventory control, ensuring policy compliance and profitability. Reports to the Store Manager and works on a non-exempt hourly basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assumes store responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence.
• Assist in personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure store profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities are met.
• Keep the Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Maintain and promote extraordinary customer service per company manuals.
