Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Beaumont, TX to support the Store Manager in leading a team and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. You will handle merchandising, freight processing, and daily store operations with a focus on safety and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentability
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise
• Manage freight flow and stock needs to productivity standards
• Ensure sales floor is sales-effective
• Plan and merchandise monthly Sales Planners
