Dollar Tree Stores is hiring a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Hutto, TX. The role supports the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team focused on merchandising and freight processing.

You’ll help with opening/closing, asset protection, cleanliness, and policy adherence while driving sales and customer experience. Your responsibilities include freight management, stock planning, and monthly merchandising planning.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as described.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, safety guidelines, and procedures.
• Maintain store areas to company standards (stockroom and sales floor).
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including bathrooms and floors.
• Foster a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Assist Store Manager with freight flow and merchandise needs.
• Order stock and ensure sales floor is merchandised effectively.
• Plan monthly Sales Planners and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels.
