Goodwill Manasota, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Retail Store Manager in Bradenton, FL. The role oversees store operations, staff supervision, and donor flow, with a focus on safety, budget adherence, and customer service excellence.

Reporting to the TLC GGC, you will help hire/train staff, manage schedules, ensure security and image, and maintain compliance with policies and CARF standards. This is a full-time on-site role requiring reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of management/supervisory experience in a retail setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures open and honest communication to keep team, donors, and customers safe.
• Upholds Goodwill’s drug-free workplace and core values.
• Maintains 100% world-class customer service.
• Assists with hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating team members.
• Operates the GGC within budgeted expense-to-revenue ratios.
• Manages donation handling and processing per policies.
• Schedules labor and payroll per established policies.
• Maintains image, loss prevention, safety and security.
• Orders and maintains supplies and other Goodwill property.
• Prepares weekly two-week staff schedule.
• Completes CARF-related safety inspections.
• Keeps informed on product knowledge and pricing.
• Attends training as assigned.
