Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees per laws and Company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; identify gaps and counsel.
• Make recommendations regarding pay rates and advancement.
• Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings to reinforce policies.
• Open and close the store reliably; maintain staffing levels.
• Evaluate operating statements for sales, profitability, and shrink; identify opportunities for improvement.
• Review ordering plans to meet stock targets; manage inventory and cycle counts.
• Stage and stock merchandise per Company processes; ensure proper fixtures and pricing.
• Maintain accurate inventory and cash controls; ensure cashier accountability.
• Provide superior customer service leadership; maintain a clean, safe store environment.
• Ensure tools/equipment are available and store policies are followed; complete paperwork on time.
