Job summary

Skechers, the Comfort Technology Company®, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Houston, TX to support the management team and lead daily store operations. You will mentor staff, manage inventory and merchandising, and ensure exceptional customer service while driving profitability.

You will contribute to a high-performing retail environment with opportunities for career advancement and competitive pay. Some weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience in retail or similar environment.
• Proven ability to drive sales and customer service excellence.
• Experience managing inventory and merchandising.
• Effective communicator with teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach store team to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Oversee visual merchandising and product displays to meet brand standards.
• Manage stock levels, restocking, and floor presentation for a seamless shopping experience.
• Oversee store operations including scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and processes.
• Drive revenue growth through performance strategies and target attainment.
• Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns promptly.
