Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in retail, footwear and athletic apparel.
• Experience in managing and cultivating a sales team.
• 3-5 years of customer service experience; 3+ years of management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and sales goals, focusing on company growth.
• Manage and control the store's assets and operations.
• Direct and oversee sales efforts; train and mentor store associates.
• Monitor sales statistics, inventory, and expenses to drive profitability.
• Collaborate with District Sales Manager to enforce policies and goals.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities are met.
• Mentor a team of Sales Associates, Assistant Managers, and Managers in Training.
• Recruit, hire, train, discipline, and evaluate staff; manage payroll and scheduling.
• Maintain store security and partner with Asset Protection to prevent theft.
• Communicate inventory movement and drive inventory goals.
• Implement marketing and advertising plans and monitor customer trends.
• Stay informed about competition and community events to seize opportunities.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service as outlined in the manual; assist customers.
• Protect assets and financial information by maintaining internal controls and reporting fraud risk.
