Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide proper training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; address gaps and counseling as needed.
• Open and close the store regularly; manage daily opening/closing procedures.
• Evaluate store performance, sales, profitability and inventory trends to identify opportunities.
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure proper stock levels and merchandising presentation.
