Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. in Novelty, OH is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative/Assistant Site Manager to lead the team and uphold Circle K standards.

You will recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure outstanding customer service and a well-kept store environment. The role includes scheduling, inventory control, basic accounting, and safety training to support daily operations and store profitability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Experience to perform the essential duties and responsibilities described in this job.
• Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment listed in the CSR/ASM job description.
• Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in the CSR/ASM job description.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, organized and well kept.
• Schedule employees within company guidelines to maximize customer service and site image.
• Implement non-discriminatory management skills in hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separating employees.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Train all employees to meet customer service, site image and marketing standards.
• Train staff on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
• Communicate to ensure timely information sharing with all site employees and the Market Manager.
• Organize and maintain site files and manuals; ensure reports are completed accurately.
• Manage merchandise stocking, display and pricing; ensure posters/signs are in place.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits and margins.
