The Manager in Training will step in for the Store Manager as needed, providing guidance to staff and ensuring excellent customer service while promoting merchandise and promotions.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably footwear/apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Team-player dedicated to outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling store assets and day-to-day operations.
• Help with selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Take responsibility in Store Manager's absence to ensure store continuity.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments as needed.
• Monitor inventory movement, sales statistics and expenses to support profitability.
• Direct staff to meet department goals and standards and uphold policies.
