Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Store Manager at our Bangor-area location to lead daily store operations, supervise staff, manage inventory and drive sales. The role emphasizes customer service, merchandising, and financial accountability within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• The minimum qualifications for the Store Manager role.
• Experience in retail sales is preferred.
• Experience to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed below.
• Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials listed in CSR/ASM descriptions.
• Ability to supervise and manage the CSR/ASM functions listed in their descriptions.
• Ability to use computer and analyze reports, conduct inventory and cash control.
• A valid driver’s license and transportation to/from bank and management meetings.
• Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, organized and well kept to Company standards.
• Maintain a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisor.
• Schedule employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain site image.
• Develop positive and professional relationships with all suppliers.
• Promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner.
• Prepare ongoing performance appraisals in writing for all employees, providing feedback.
• Train all employees to meet customer service, site image and marketing standards.
• Develop ways to ensure timely communication with all employees.
• Evaluate and develop action plans to reach site objectives.
• Organize and maintain all site files and manuals.
• Manage and supervise store employees to ensure reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Ensure stock and merchandizing are attractive and correctly priced.
