Qualifications

• Retail experience, preferably in footwear/apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Is a self-starter, has initiative to take on important tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with assets, selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assumes store responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provides knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Keeps inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are completed.
• Keeps the Store Manager informed about inventory movement and trends.
• Assures quality customer service is maintained.
• Performs general administrative duties and is trained in Store Manager's responsibilities.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service highlighted in the customer service manual.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold all policies and procedures as listed in manuals and memos.
• Protect the company’s assets and financial information; inform management of fraud risks.
