Job summary

R301US Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking a Manager in Training to assist the Store Manager with daily operations and administration in a fast-paced retail environment. You will gain knowledge across departments and help promote merchandise and services while delivering outstanding customer service.

In this role you will step in for the Store Manager when needed and mentor staff to meet store goals and profitability targets, aligning with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits.
• Self-starter with initiative to handle important tasks without being asked.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with overall operations and administrative duties.
• In the Store Manager’s absence, assume supervisory responsibilities.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory movement, sales statistics, and expenses to support profitability.
• Produce extraordinary customer service and promote merchandise and services.
