POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Store Manager I or II, you will have a hands-on opportunity to develop supervisory experience and skills while managing the overall operations at a low or lower complexity store. You will learn how to drive success, gain expertise and a clear understanding of the business operations, and create and develop great teams. The Store Manager I and II roles are also required to perform all functions normally performed by a store team member. You will have the opportunity to own your business in driving sales, modeling Purple Promise service, and delivering operational excellence. These foundational experiences will prepare you for managing higher volume stores with larger teams.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand and model FedEx Office values to customers and team members.
  • Coach and support your team with tools and information needed to meet company goals.
  • Collaborate with your supervisor to create solutions for business challenges, customer needs, and partnerships.
  • Ensure an engaging store experience that retains customers and supports the FedEx brand.
  • Use FedEx Office tools to train, develop, and manage your team.
  • Seek guidance and escalate issues to your supervisor as needed.
  • Execute operational and sales activities to meet financial and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Perform daily duties such as accounts receivable, inventory reports, sales recaps, and deposits.
  • Take ownership of store controls including SOPs, financials, safety, and compliance.
  • Use Quality Improvement tools to enhance the business and innovate.
  • Maintain flexibility in work schedule based on business needs.
  • Perform other duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED required; some college or an associate's degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of related experience (retail, service, hospitality, military), with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
  • Meet all employment qualifications at the time of hiring.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ability to work alone in the store at times.
  • Stand during entire shift, excluding breaks.
  • Lift and move up to 55 pounds.
  • Perform bending and twisting activities regularly.
  • Travel as needed for business purposes.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods.
  • Work with minimal supervision and maintain regular attendance.
