Primary Responsibilities
- Provide financial oversight of all sales and profit goals, including management of payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and other key initiatives.
- Demonstrate Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors by delivering exceptional Associate and Customer service experiences, ensuring company standards are met in every interaction.
- Implement company strategies for merchandising, store standards, seasonal transitions, and inventory processes to meet operational goals.
- Develop talent through coaching, training, evaluation, supervision, and scheduling of store associates to align with business needs and staffing budgets.
- Maintain security of the store and all company assets.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
- Valid Driver’s license required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.
