Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is seeking a full-time Retail Store Manager for our Bay City Store at 4011 Euclid Ave, Bay City, MI. The role offers a $50,000 salary with monthly bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will lead store operations, drive sales, train staff, and ensure excellent donor and customer service. Responsibilities include developing strategies to meet goals, pricing merchandise, and managing donations and personnel.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of management or supervisory experience is required.

Job Duties

• Developand implementstrategies to achieve monthly and yearly retail goals.
• Increasesales per square foot through proper pricing and appropriate quantity and quality of merchandise.
• Increasebottom-line contribution (revenue less expense) through retail program management and effective utilization of resources.
• Properly price, display, and maintain merchandise.
• Increase donations by serving donors through appropriate receiving, handling, and organizing of donated goods
• Hiring, training, retaining, motivating, and communicating with store employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one-year management or supervisory experience required.
• Minimum of one-year of general retail or production experience.
• Must have telephone access
• Must have access to a vehicle anda valid Michigan driver's license.
• Can you lift and carry35 pounds with or without help?
• Can youreach, bend or stoop?
• Are you able to stand six to eight hours a day?
• Ability to push, pull and operate a pallet jack.
• Can you problem solve quickly and efficiently?
• Are youpleasant, cheerful and professional?
