Goodwill Mid Michigan Bad Axe is seeking a motivated Retail Store Manager to lead daily operations at our BAD AXE store located at 780 N. Van Dyke in Bad Axe, MI. This full-time role oversees staff, merchandising, pricing, donations processing, and achieving monthly and yearly retail goals.

The position offers a $55,000 salary with monthly bonus potential, along with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to develop a strong, customer-focused team in a mission-driven nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one-year management or supervisory experience required.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Developand implementstrategies to achieve monthly and yearly retail goals.
• Increasesales per square foot through proper pricing and appropriate quantity and quality of merchandise.
• Increasebottom-line contribution (revenue less expense) through retail program management and effective utilization of resources.
• Properly price, display, and maintain merchandise.
• Increase donations by serving donors through appropriate receiving, handling, and organizing of donated goods
• Hiring, training, retaining, motivating, and communicating with store employees.

• Minimum of one-year of general retail or production experience.
• Must have telephone access
• Must have access to a vehicle anda valid Michigan driver's license.
• Can you lift and carry35 pounds with or without help?

• Are you able to stand six to eight hours a day?
• Ability to push, pull and operate a pallet jack.
• Can you problem solve quickly and efficiently?
