Job summary

PUMA North America, Inc. in Las Vegas is seeking a part-time retail associate to maintain cleanliness and assist customers. The role covers cleaning bathrooms, dusting fixtures, washing floors, and keeping the sales and stock areas organized.

Your duties include replenishing supplies, reporting maintenance needs, and adhering to OSHA safety practices while working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess cleanliness of the building and ensure store areas are clean.
• Clean bathrooms and replenish supplies.
• Dust fixtures, walls and windows; wash floors and elevators/escalators.
• Empty garbage/recycling and keep refrigerators clean.
• Inform management of maintenance or safety issues; follow OSHA requirements.

YOUR MISSION

• Assess the cleanliness and hygiene of the building

• Ensure that all public and employee areas of the store are cleaned

• Clean bathrooms

• Replenish bathroom supplies

• Dust all fixtures and walls

• Ensure windows are clean

• Wash floors, including stairwells

• Clean elevators and escalators

• Empty garbage cans and recycling bins

• Empty and clean out refrigerators

• Monitor the level of cleaning supplies

• Make simple repairs that do not need professional help

• Inform the General Manager of any need for maintenance, repairs or renovations in the store

• Required to comply with all operational core competencies and key accountabilities

• Execute all requirements concerning OSHA to maintain a safe and compliant working atmosphere

• Required to work non-traditional hours; weekends, evenings, holidays; overtime may be required

YOUR TALENT

• The ability to constantly walk and move about is required.

• This role involves frequent stationary standing, reaching, bending/twisting of head, and maintaining balance while walking.

• The role also requires using ladder/step stool equipment, occasional kneeling, crouching, climbing, bending/stooping at waist/torso and sitting to assist customers.

• Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the sales and stock area are also required.

• Pushing/pulling equipment such as shelving bays, dollies, carts, and racks with up to 20 pounds of force as well as lifting/carrying/placing boxes of product up to 30 pounds in weight at heights up to 131 inches while using a ladder is also required.

• Use of the following senses are critical to this position: speaking, hearing, near & far acuity, depth perception and field of vision.

• Environmental factors of action include operation of foot controls for operating mobile stock shelving bays and exposure to working at heights.

The base pay for this position is $16.00-$19.00/hr + Benefits
