Job summary

Hibbett Retail, Inc. in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a Manager in Training in our Operations team. The role supports the Store Manager, learns all product areas, and helps execute store goals and promotions.

You will promote exceptional customer service, assist in selling, restocking, merchandising, and scheduling, and step in as acting Store Manager when needed. The program builds supervisory skills while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred, especially footwear/apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead and support a team to meet store goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling store assets and operations.
• Help establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Act as Store Manager in their absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to support profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities are completed.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise.
• Uphold company policies and procedures.
