Job summary

Walmart in Springfield, MO is seeking a Store Leader to drive performance and develop teams across merchandising, staffing, and store operations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings (Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and feedback across store operations.
• Drive store financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
• Ensure high quality customer experience through service standards, merchandising, and community initiatives.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates; recruit, mentor, and set clear expectations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and ethics aligned to Walmart values.
