Job summary

SNIPES LaGrange is seeking a Head Manager for the LaGrange, GA store. This full-time, hourly role will oversee staff and all store operations to meet company goals and drive sales. You will manage scheduling, merchandising, payroll, and partner with District Manager and HR on associate relations.

Responsibilities include team leadership, coaching, performance reviews, and maintaining a high standards of customer service while ensuring adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2+ years of previous experience as a retail manager.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree a plus but not required.
• Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong drive to achieve results.
• Takes initiative and has problem solving skills.
• Stand for long periods during shifts; lifting 15–30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate the store's goals to maximize team contributions toward the sales plan.
• Complete schedules, tasks, merchandising and follow processes on schedule.
• Ensure payroll budget is met without compromising customer expectations.
• Partner with District Manager and HR on associate relations issues.
• Participate in meetings to share best practices and solutions.
• Build a strong team that delivers sales and profit results.
• Provide honest leadership with integrity and a performance-driven culture.
• Motivate team performance with feedback and evaluations.
• Identify development needs and coach accordingly.
• Address poor performance with constructive feedback.
• Identify succession opportunities and develop capabilities.
