Job summary

Hibbett Retail, Inc. in Dillon, South Carolina, seeks a Manager in Training to support Store Manager and learn all store operations. You'll become proficient in merchandising, restocking, scheduling and customer service while promoting sales and promotions.

As an ambassador of the Hibbett I City Gear brand, you will supervise in the Store Manager’s absence, train staff, monitor inventory and expenses, and help deliver an outstanding shopping experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and strong customer service skills are required.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on tasks without being asked.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling store assets and operations.
• Help establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Serve as acting supervisor in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Maintain awareness of inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to support profitability.
• Supervise staff to ensure departmental goals and standards are met.
