Job summary

Hibbett Retail, Inc. in Aiken, South Carolina is hiring a Manager in Training to support the Store Manager with daily operations and deliver excellent customer service. This role develops knowledge across all product areas and stores the store’s policies and procedures.

You will oversee merchandising, scheduling, inventory awareness, and staff guidance during the Store Manager’s absence, driving sales and long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear/apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative and ability to take on tasks without being asked.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Take over store responsibilities in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service per manuals and promote products and services.
