Job summary

R301US Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking a Manager in Training in Carrollton, GA to assist the Store Manager with daily operations and store performance.

You will gain exposure to all product areas, promote promotions, and help deliver an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment. As an Ambassador of Hibbett I City Gear, you will train to assume Store Manager responsibilities in their absence while promoting merchandise and services.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and keep up with overall goals and profits.
• Is a self-starter, has initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.
• Is a team-player, passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Attend in the Store Manager’s absence and assume supervisory responsibilities.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Maintain awareness of inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service as highlighted in the customer service manual.
