Job summary

CommunityAid is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Reading, PA. This role provides leadership to ensure smooth daily operations, optimal product presentation, and a positive experience for staff, customers, and donors.

You will supervise teams, conduct training, manage staffing levels, and respond to performance issues. The position may act as Store Manager in their absence, supporting our mission and core values.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business management preferred.
• Minimum of one-year supervisory experience in retail or production.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure product quality.
• Drive retail profitability and customer/donor experience.
• Set policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
• Act as Store Manager when the Store Manager is absent.
• Lead staffing, training, and development.
