Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Store Manager to lead all aspects of the store’s operations, ensuring company standards and a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.

The role requires five or more years of store management experience, a strong focus on customer service, and the ability to recruit, train and develop associates while controlling expenses and maintaining compliance. You will supervise the stockroom, front end and sales floor, analyze store performance, and work with leadership

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks necessary to accomplish goals, develop a schedule to complete tasks and execute to achieve results.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Store operations to meet company standards and best practices.
• Recruit, train and develop Assistant Store Manager, Area Supervisors and Associates.
• Manage Stockroom, Front End and Sales Floor to ensure timely merchandise movement.
• Control expenses through scheduling and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with state, local and federal regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a neat, easy to shop environment.
• Lead by example and ensure adherence to company policies.
