Job summary

Circle K in Fairdale, Kentucky is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, motivate staff, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining store standards.

You will oversee scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and training, working with suppliers and the local community to promote a safe, clean, and welcoming store. This role requires strong communication, supervision skills, and the ability to implement company policies in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train for use of equipment, tools and materials listed in CSR/ASM descriptions.
• Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in CSR/ASM descriptions.
• Ability to use computer and analyze reports, inventory control, cash control, counseling notices, etc.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation to/from bank and meetings.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep site clean, stocked, organized and well kept.
• Maintain a professional image among staff and supervisor.
• Schedule employees to maximize service and maintain site image.

• Develop positive relationships with suppliers.
• Promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Promote a safe, positive image within the community.
• Prepare performance appraisals for employees with feedback.
• Train employees on customer service, site image and marketing execution.
• Train on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
• Develop timely communication with all staff and hold regular meetings.
