Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Store Manager to oversee all store operations, including ordering, receiving, stocking, presentation, staffing and support. You will lead a team, ensure customer service excellence, and maintain a compliant, well‑organized store environment.

Responsibilities include recruiting and training staff, directing daily store activities, analyzing sales and inventory trends, enforcing cash control and safety policies, and ensuring the store meets in‑stock targets

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience reading diagrams, safety rules and operating procedures is a plus.
• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to federal and state labor laws and company policies.
• Provide training for employees; conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Monitor staffing levels and ensure proper opening/closing of the store.
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving and stock replenishment.
• Ensure cash control procedures and security compliance are followed.
