Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Aurora, IL. This leadership role drives sales performance, mentors staff, and ensures outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will oversee daily operations, participate in scheduling, training, and policy compliance while maintaining a welcoming store culture that embodies the Lids brand and product assortment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering sales results and improving store performance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer and team interactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage duties when Store Manager is absent.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Lead store associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow-up in the Store Manager's absence.
• Administer disciplinary steps with verbal and written warnings when needed.
• Foster a fun, productive, and inclusive team environment aligned with company standards.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and call-ins during peak periods.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on procedures.
• Ensure compliance with policies, inventory safety, and cash handling.
