Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cash register and scanner and manage deposits.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and store security practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling and training of employees; conduct safety meetings.
• Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, restocking, and display construction.
• Assist in inventory accuracy, damages, markdowns, scanning, and paperwork.
• Maintain planograms and ensure merchandise is presented per standards.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability and deposit procedures.
• Assist in store management in the Store Manager's absence.
