Job summary

Dexian seeks a Senior Financial Analyst – Retail Store Finance in Dublin, CA. You will support financial processes for store operations and CapEx, lead forecasting for stores, and analyze variances against budgets and forecasts.

You’ll drive annual budgeting and a 5-year plan while partnering with business owners to align financial drives with spending needs. The role requires 2–4+ years FP&A experience, advanced Excel skills, and a finance-related degree.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of relevant financial analysis or FP&A experience.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting preferred.
• Strong understanding of fundamental financial concepts.
• Experience with variance analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills. Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or another analytical field.

Responsibilities

• Support financial processes related to Store Operations expenses and capital spending.
• Lead monthly forecasting activities for new and existing stores.
• Analyze and explain variances between actuals, budget, and forecast.
• Support the annual budgeting and 5-year planning processes.
• Review financial assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure forecasts are accurate.
• Partner with project and business owners to understand financial drivers and spending requirements.
• Support preparation and analysis of Capital Expenditure Requests (CapEx).
• Prepare financial reports, presentations, and analysis for Finance and Store Operations leadership.
• Perform financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ad-hoc analysis to evaluate business initiatives.
