Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in KC-OLATHE, KS is seeking a team member who helps maintain a clean, welcoming store and delivers friendly customer service. You will clean, organize, and assist customers in finding products while adhering to safety and store standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
• Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways and high-traffic areas.
• Provide a fast and friendly check out experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards.
