Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, assist in setting plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and help maximize profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting assets. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, building displays, operating the cash register, and assisting customers.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to assist customers and maintain store standards.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Ability to read plan-o-grams for product placement.
• Proficient math skills for transactions and pricing.
• Familiarity with POS devices and checkout processes.
• Understand safety policies and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in the store.
• Follow processes to receive, open, and unpack cartons.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays.
• Stock, face, and restock shelves as needed.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag purchases; handle payments.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using scanners when needed.
• Keep front end clean and help with sidewalk displays.
