Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, greet shoppers, and help locate merchandise. You will unload trucks, stock and rotate merchandise, build displays, and use handheld scanners to assist ordering and pricing while maintaining plan-o-grams.

You will operate the cash register, handle payments, bag purchases, and maintain store cleanliness. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with basic math and safety awareness essential for daily

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store merchandise or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating items.
• Greet customers and operate the cash register to total purchases.
• Collect payments, make change, and bag merchandise.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Clean front end, restock, and maintain store appearance.
